RATCH Group announced a 29.7 MW ECOWIN wind farm in Vietnam Commencing commercial operation to Vietnam Electricity under 20-year PPA
|

RATCH Group Public Company Limited announced that the 29.7 MW ECOWIN wind power project comprising nine wind turbines with 3.3 MW capacity each, operated by ECOWIN Energy Corporation, a joint venture company owned 51% by the RATCH Group, kicked off the commercial operation on September 29. The electricity production will be dispatched to Vietnam Electricity (EVN) under the 20-year Power Purchase Agreement. Located about 180 kilometers south of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, the ECOWIN wind power plant is an onshore wind farm project. Earlier, it has completely passed the trial run and reliability test operation according to Vietnam government’s standard.

Hence, Thailand’s GDP in 2023 is expected to be 2.5-3.0 percent from economic constraints, namely, the global economy recession in response to rising policy interest rate,high level of household debt in Thailand, however, Thailand’s economic outlook has been positive since the succeed of government formation and the implementation of their economic stimulation programs and a better outlook of export sector which increasing 2.6 percent in September 2023.

Amata Corporation PCL, originally named “Bangpakong Industrial Park 2 PCL”, was set up on March 6, 1989 to operate real estate business by developing and selling industrial land to industrial operators. At the beginning, the Company had its registered capital of THB 120,000,000 (one hundred twenty million baht) whereas the current registered capital is THB 1,067,000,000 (one thousand sixty-seven million baht). The Company set up Bangpakong Industrial Estate, later changed the name to Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate on February 25, 1998 and changed the name for the second time to Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate on January 18, 2018. Amata City Chonburi is a partnership between private sector and Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand.
