Stamford Tyres: Half-Year Net Profit Triples To S$3 Million.

Stamford Tyres Corporation Limited's net profit increased to $3.0 million for 1HFY17 compared to $1.0 million for 1HFY16. Gross profit margin increased from 24.0 per cent in 1HFY16 to 25.7 per cent in 1HFY17, mainly attributable to lower cost of sales and contribution from value-added activities at its Stamford Tyres Mart retail chain and truck tyre centres.
