CNMC: Enters Into Letter Of Intent With Pulai Mining To Acquire 51% Stake In Kelantan Miner For RM13.8 Million.

CNMC Goldmine Holdings Limited has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire a 51% stake in a Malaysian company authorised to mine for gold and other minerals in Kelantan, in a major push to expand its portfolio. The target company, Pulai Mining Sdn Bhd, has exploration and mining concession in Kelantan spanning 3,841.3ha (38.4km2), almost four times the size of CNMC's flagship Sokor gold field project, which is also in the same state. Stamford Tyres: Reports S$2.6 Million Net Profit For FY2016.

Stamford Tyres Corporation Limited announced that its net profit increased by 52 per cent to $2.6 million for FY2016 compared to $1.7 million for FY2015. Geo Energy: Divests Non-Core Assets To Focus More On Coal Production & Improving Its Cost Structure.

Geo Energy divested its mining services and coal haulage services businesses under wholly owned subsidiaries, PT Mitra Riau Pratama and PT Geo Mineral Trading, for US$10.0 million to PT Autum Bara Sejahtera. The disposal of both subsidiaries are expected to generate cost-savings of US$1.7 million in operating expenses and US$1.0 million in working capital per quarter for the Group.
