FSL Trust: Grows Fleet With US$21.8 Million Cash Acquisition Of MR Tanker.

First Ship Lease Trust has entered into a memorandum of agreement to purchase a 2007, Japanese-built, 45,998-dwt MR product tanker for US$21.8 million, delivering on its stated strategy to improve revenues by 2016. The acquisition will be financed through existing cash reserves that totalled US$41.8 million at 30 June 2015. The vessel is expected to be delivered to the Trust between 1 November 2015 and 31 January 2016, and is intended to be employed in the spot market through a first class commercial manager. CapitaLand Retail China Trust achieved a distributable income of S$22.3 million for the period from 1 July to 30 September 2015, an increase of 14.2% over 3Q 2014. Distribution per unit for 3Q 2015 was 2.64 cents, an increase of 12.3% over the corresponding period a year ago.
