PEC: Revenue Rises 18% To S$130M In 2Q FY12.
PEC Ltd. is pleased to report an increase in revenue of 18% over the corresponding period last year to S$130.1 million. Despite paring down administrative and other operating expenses by 11% year-on-year to S$15.1 million, the Group's attributable profit in 2Q FY12 declined to S$3.1 million due to cost pressure. OKP Holdings: Full Year Net Profit Soars To A Record High Of S$26.6 Million, Proposes Final Dividend Of 2.0 Cents Per Share.
OKP Holdings Limited announced profit after tax attributable to shareholders of S$26.6 million, up S$9.6 million, or 57.0 per cent, from S$17.0 million it registered in the previous financial year. The board of directors is proposing a final dividend of 2.0 cents per share. Taken with the interim dividend of 1.0 cent per share which the Group paid in August 2011, the total dividend of 3.0 cents per share works out to a dividend yield of 4.6% based on the closing share price on 14th February 2012 of 65.5 cents and a dividend payout ratio of 33.3%... Pteris Global Limited has successfully completed and delivered a RMB78 million (approximately SGD16 million) Airport Baggage Handling System for Changsha Huanghua International Airport Terminal 3. The BHS for the approximately 220,000 sqm Terminal, which caters to a passenger capacity of 15 million per annum, was successfully completed and delivered in just 11 months. SMT: Reports Operating Loss In Q3 FY2012 And Updates The Progress Of Its Restructuring.
The Group's revenue for the three months ended 31 December 2011 was HK$238.8 million (S$38.5 million) as compared to HK$468.9 million (S$75.5 million) in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. This was mainly due to the downsizing of operations and the change of sales mix from turnkey to consigned component assembly for certain products. Loss attributable to shareholders was HK$22.6 million (S$3.6 million) as compared to HK$27.4 million (S$4.4 million) in the corresponding quarter last year. Malaysia Airlines: Increases In-flight Entertainment Choices For Customers.
Malaysia Airlines has increased the content of its inflight Movies, TV programmes and Songs Library on all Boeing 737-800, 777-200, 747-400 and new Airbus 330-300 aircraft in its fleet.
