Venture: Reports FY2010 Net Profit Of S$188.1 Million.

Venture Corporation Limited registered sequential quarterly revenue improvement for FY 2010, culminating in full year revenue of S$2.7 billion. For FY 2009, the Group generated revenue of S$3.4 billion. The year-on-year revenue decline for FY 2010 was within expectation given the Group's earlier guidance on its business-mix shifting towards technology services, products and solutions with greater design and engineering content. COSCO: FY2010 Net Profit Surged 126% To S$248.8 Million.

Group net profit attributable to equity holders surged 126% on record-breaking turnover of $3.9bn. Group turnover jumped 33% on better shipyard performance. Turnover from shipyard operations increased 35% to $$3.7bn on higher contributions from ship building and marine engineering projects. Turnover from dry bulk shipping business decreased 3.2% to $128.6m due to lower charter-hire rates. Net profit attributable to equity holders of the Company soared 126% to $248.8m on higher turnover and cost efficiencies. Hyflux: Registers Record FY2010 Revenue And Profit.

Hyflux Ltd has posted its best profits in the Group's history, chalking up an 18% increase in net profit after tax and minority interests of S$88.5 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2010 from S$75.0 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2009. The profit for FY2010 was posted on the back of record revenue of S$569.7 million, driven by higher revenue contributions from both the municipal and industrial segments. The revenue for FY2010 was a 9% rise against FY2009 revenue of S$524.8 million. The Board of Directors of Hyflux has recommended a final dividend of 3.50 Singapore cents per ordinary share... Changtian: Posts Lower Profit In FY10.

Changtian Plastic & Chemical Limited announced its financial results for the year ended 31 December 2010. The Group recorded an 8.7% increase in revenue to RMB631.8 million, with net profit down by 21.3% to RMB100.9 million. Due to intense market competition and increasing operating costs, the Group suspended its BOPA film production and leased out its production lines to a third party firm in the fourth quarter of 2010. Midas: Awarded Two International Contracts In New Geographical Markets.

Midas Holdings Limited announced that its Aluminium Alloy Division, Jilin Midas Aluminium Industries Co., Ltd has clinched two new international contracts worth an aggregate sum of RMB83.5 million to supply aluminium alloy extrusion profiles, including certain fabricated parts, for the Malaysia Intercity Urban Rail Project and the Izmir Light Rail Transit Project in Turkey respectively. Both contracts were awarded by CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd to Midas, marking the Company's foray into the Malaysian market with a contract valued at RMB71.0 million.
