COSCO: 3Q10 Net Profit Up 147% To S$55.1 Million.

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited announced another quarter of growth for its financial results for the third quarter ended 30 September 2010. Group turnover increased 26.7% to $952.7 million in Q3 2010 on the back of higher progressive revenue recognition for the Group's ship building and offshore marine engineering projects and higher dry bulk shipping revenue. Ship building, repair and marine engineering turnover rose 27.4% to $918.7 million in Q3 2010 on progressive completions of projects. Synear: Reports Nine Months Profit Of RMB110.1 Million.

Synear Food Holdings Limited announced its financial results for the nine months ended September 30, 2010. Revenue rose 1.3% to RMB1.38 billion on the back of higher sales of the Group's glutinous sweet dumpling products and savoury dumpling products. Net profit decreased 14.5% to RMB110.1 million. Sales of the Group's glutinous sweet dumpling products were up 2.4% to RMB473.9 million in 9M10, and sales of its savoury dumpling products grew 0.7% to RMB583.4 million in the same period.
