ASL Marine: Secured New Shipbuilding Contracts Worth S$55 Million.

ASL Marine Holdings Ltd. is pleased to announce that the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, ASL Shipyard Pte Ltd has secured new shipbuilding contracts worth a total of approximately S$55 million for 30 vessels, comprising 2 units Azimuth Stern Drive Tugs, 1 unit pipe-lay barge and 27 units cargo barges. The 2 units of Azimuth Stern Drive Tugs are scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2012. The barges are scheduled for progressive deliveries by the first quarter of 2011. Phillip Securities Research - I therefore plead with the market to give SUNPOWER a valuation that it rightly deserves. This would be, first, an equal valuation to the overall market. Tiong Seng: Secured Two Contracts Amounting To S$32.6 Million In Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.

Tiong Seng Holdings Limited would like to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, TSC Contractors (PNG) Ltd, has been awarded two contracts amounting to a total of PGK65.16 million (approximately S$32.6 million) for the rehabilitation of roads from Rypinka to Okapa Station Road in Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. The contracts were awarded by the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, funded by the Asian Development Bank. The project is expected to commence in October 2010 and complete by June 2012. Union Steel: Turns Around With A Net Profit Of S$4.0 Million In FY 2010.

Union Steel Holdings Limited has reported a vastly improved performance for the financial year ended 30 June 2010; the Group achieved a net profit of S$4.0 million, reversing the previous year's losses of S$6.0 million. Cash and cash equivalents as at 30 June 2010 stood at $18.2 million. Total borrowings amounted to S$46.6 million. Net gearing ratio was 0.5x. Soilbuild: To Divest Penjuru Logistics Hub For S$60 Million.

Soilbuild Group Holdings Ltd has signed a put and call option agreement to divest Penjuru Logistics Hub, a purpose-built logistics warehouse located near Jurong Island and Jurong Port, for S$60 million. The Group expects to recognize a gain of approximately S$16.3 million from the divestment, net of estimated expenses in connection with the sale. Asiasoft Corporation: Discloses Second Quarter Net Profits With Steady Growth And Dividend Payments Of 0.43 Baht Per Share.

Mr. Pramoth Sudjitporn, CEO of Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited, reveals the business profits of Asiasoft Corporation Public Company Limited, or its stock name, AS. "According to the overall profits for the second quarter of 2010, the company's net profits show a growth rate of 60% as compared to the second quarter of last year. The company was able to gain a net profit of 73.9 million baht in comparison with the second quarter of 2009, which showed a net profit equal to 46.3 million baht with reduced sales-administrative costs as compared to income, including improved work performance in foreign countries, which is a result of growing income and cost reduction with effective team structure modifications in foreign countries in terms of capital and sales-administration costs, thus putting the net profit from abroad in the second quarter of 2010 at approximately 3 million baht as compared to the second quarter of last year, which showed a profit loss of approximately 10 million baht. When considered in terms of net profits for the first half of 2010, the net profit is equal to 136.7 million baht, or a growth rate of 83%, as compared to the net profit of the first half of 2009, which was equal to 74.6 million baht." Thoresen Thai Agencies: Posts 2010 Third Quarter Financial Results.

(Bangkok, 16 August 2010) -- Thoresen Thai Agencies Public Company Limited ("TTA") reported third quarter net profits of Baht 185.13 million and earnings per share of Baht 0.26 for the three-month period that ended on 30 June 2010 ("3Q FY 2010"), compared with net profits and earnings per share of Baht 352.62 million and Baht 0.50 for the same three-month period in 2009 ("3Q FY 2009").

"TTA's diversified lines of business delivered mixed results in the last quarter," TTA President & CEO M.L. Chandchutha Chandratat disclosed. "Over the last 12 months, TTA has achieved better diversification of revenues, with freight income now at 50% of consolidated revenues. Diamond Roofing Tile

Diamond Roofing Tile is opening its ninth production line at a cost of Bt480 million after secondquarter revenue spurted by 26 per cent. The company, which produces tile under the Adamas and CT Diamond brands and concrete tiles under the Diamond logo, saw revenue of Bt887.17 million in the second quarter of this year. Satid Sudbuntad, deputy managing director of sales and marketing, said yesterday that the supporting factors for the record quarter were growing markets in the North, Northeast and Central regions, which are strong in agricultural products. Secondquarter net profit improved by 33.4 per cent to Bt140.05 million compared with the same quarter last year.
