Micro-Mechanics: Reports Sharp Turnaround In Net Profit To S$1.3M In 3Q10.

Micro-Mechanics (Holdings) Ltd. has reported a net profit of S$1.3 million for the third quarter ended 31 March 2010, reversing the net loss of S$1.4 million incurred in 3Q09. The turnaround in the Group's bottom line in 3Q10 was achieved on robust revenue growth of 85.1% to S$10.1 million, compared to S$5.5 million in 3Q09. Micro-Mechanics benefited from strong growth in all its geographical markets in 3Q10. Its key semiconductor tooling markets in Malaysia and China posted sales growth of 133% and 87% respectively. HISAKA: Posted Best Ever First Half Year Results With Net Profit Of S$4.2 Million.

Hisaka Holdings Ltd. is pleased to announce its half year results for the period ending 31st March 2010. HISAKA rode the wave of the economy recovery to record all time high total revenue of S$36.6 million in HY2010, an overall surge of 368% from S$7.8 million in HY2009. The jump of S$28.8 million was also due to the Group's prudent planning efforts in building its strong sales, technical services and supporting teams during the global financial turmoil. CWT: Reports 27% Growth In 1QFY10 Earnings To S$11.7 Million.

CWT Limited is pleased to announce a net profit attributable to owners of S$11.7 million for the first quarter ended 31 March 2010. The Group saw a steady increase in 1QFY10 revenue, mainly contributed by the warehousing business and additional income stream from the defence logistics business, primarily contributed by Force 21 Equipment Pte Ltd which was acquired in January 2010. Headquartered in Singapore, Force 21 is a regional solutions provider for security, defence and rescue gear and equipment. During the quarter, the Group disposed a portion of available-for-sale financial assets and its equity interest in an associate in Thailand, which resulted in an aggregate gain of S$2.1 million... Rotary Engineering: Posts Net Profit Of S$13.8 Million, Up 218% Quarter-on-Quarter On Record Revenues For First Quarter 2010 Ended 31 March.

Rotary Engineering Limited has posted net profit after tax and minority interests of S$13.8 million in its fiscal 2010 first quarter ended 31 March, up 218.4% from its previous corresponding quarter. The Group also turned in record revenues of S$179.7 for the quarter, an increase of 36.3% from previously. For the period under review, the Group maintained its gross profit margin of 18%. Tiong Seng: FY09 Net Profit Soars More Than Four Times To S$41.4 Million.

Tiong Seng Holdings Limited reported a more than four‐fold rise in net profit attributable to equity holders for the 12 months ended 31 December 2009 to S$41.4 million, from S$9.3 million a year ago. This was due mainly to an increase in profit from operating activities and a higher share of profit from the Group's joint venture projects recorded during the year. Both the Group's construction business in Singapore and property development business in the PRC recorded strong growth, with increases in revenue of S$17.5 million and S$87.1 million respectively, boosting the Group's FY2009 revenue by 38% to S$375.6 million... Hyflux: FY09 Net Profit Soars More Than Four Times To S$41.4 Million.

Hyflux Ltd posted a 25% rise in profit attributable to shareholders for the first three months ended 31 March 2010. The net profit of S$6.4 million was achieved against a 15% rise in Group revenue of S$101.3 million. Gross margin expanded to 41% in the first quarter of FY2010, compared to 32% in the first quarter of FY2009. The Group's revenue for the first quarter was boosted by higher revenue contributions from the Middle East & North Africa region where the Group is developing two large-scale desalination projects in Algeria, including the world's largest membrane-based seawater desalination plant in Magtaa with a designed capacity of 500,000m3 of water per day...
