Hiap Tong: Newly-Listed Hydraulic Mobile Crane Specialist Hiap Tong's Full Year Net Profit Grew 26.2% To S$12.9M

Newly-listed hydraulic mobile crane specialist, Hiap Tong Corporation Ltd. ("Hiap Tong" or the "Group") announced a 26.2 per cent increase in net profit to $12.9 million for the full year ended 31 December 2009 ("FY2009"), despite a marginal dip in full year revenue which stood at S$37.5 million.

The Group's sterling results were led by strong growth in revenue from its leasing business. In addition, the Group continued to grow its lifting fleet to 115 cranes and its haulage fleet to 115 vehicles at the end of FY2009, compared to 109 cranes and 86 vehicles a year ago. Kingsmen: Kingsmen's FY2009 Net Profit Increases To S$14.9 Million

Kingsmen Creatives Ltd ("Kingsmen") and its subsidiaries ("the Group"), a leading communications design and production group in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, announced a record turnover and net profit for the financial year ended 31 December 2009 ("FY09"). Turnover jumped 27 per cent to $242.0 million, while net profit increased 5.1 per cent to S$14.9 million in FY09.

Hiap Tong Corporation Ltd. is a leading provider of hydraulic lifting and haulage services to the marine, petrochemical and construction industries in Singapore, for more than 30 years. The Group has a combined lifting fleet and haulage fleet size of more than 200 vehicles. It offers the largest range of lifting capabilities in the hydraulic mobile crane category and is the only company in Singapore able to provide mobile lifting services with lifting capacities exceeding 500 tonnes. The Group is also expecting delivery of its most advanced 1,200 tonne mobile crane in 2010.

Pharmaniaga Berhad: Pharmaniaga remains focused on strategies

The Pharmaniaga Toup announced on 19 February 2010 that its Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the fourth quarter 2009 increased by 12.2 per cent over the PBT for the same period in 2008, to reach RM 27.5 million for the final three months of the year. SOLAR: SOLAR joins Wuxi Suntech in conquering local and overseas projects while together marking the golden year

Patama Wongtoythong, Cheif Executive Officer of Solartron Public Company Limited (SOLAR) announced that the company is seeking a joint-venture with Wuxi Suntech Power, a China-based solar power generation company with local and international presence, after calling victory in the bid to construct 30-MW facility for Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP) for the first time.
