CWT: CWT's Engineering Subsidiary Indeco Engineers Secures $30 Million Maintenance Contract With The Singapore Armed Forces

CWT Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Indeco Engineers Pte Ltd (“Indeco Engineers”), has secured a contract with the Singapore Armed Forces to maintain military vehicles and equipment. The six-year contract for the maintenance services is estimated to be worth more than $30 million.

The contract requires proactive engineering, maintenance and management services such as maintenance scheduling, servicing and repair for a fleet of military trucks. The contract is effective from 20th January 2010. FULL DETAIL Full Detail

CapitaMalls Asia : CapitaMalls Asia Acquires Meili Mall In Chengdu For About S$95 Million

CapitaMalls Asia Limited announced that it has entered into an agreement with Chengdu Vanke Property Co., Ltd to acquire Meili Mall in Chengdu, China, for RMB459.85 million (S$94.6 million). Including fitting out works, CapitaMalls Asia’s estimated total expenditure on the mall is RMB520 million (S$106.9 million).

The mall is part of a mixed-use development, comprising retail and residential components. It is currently being developed by Chengdu Vanke Property and expected to be completed by 2012. The target opening date is mid-2013. FULL DETAIL Full Detail

It has interests in and manages a pan-Asian portfolio of 87 retail properties across 48 cities in the five countries of Singapore, China, Malaysia, Japan and India, with a total property value of approximately S$20.7 billion and a total GFA of approximately 67.1 million sq ft.

Bursa Malaysia : Results announcement

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) has reported a healthy net profit of RM177.6 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2009, an increase of 70 per cent compared to the net profit of RM104.4 million in 2008.
