BH Global
BH sets up joint venture

BH Global Marine Limited ("BH Global" or the "Group"), a supply chain management company specialising in premium lightings, cables and electrical equipment for the marine and oil & gas industries, will incorporate a joint venture company in Singapore to export marine-related goods and products to Myanmar. The venture is with Shwe Nyan Win and Myint Soe Thein - experienced businessmen in marine and oil and gas engineering with strong networks in Myanmar. The initial paid-up share capital of the joint venture is $300,000. Each of the partners and BH will subscribe for 35 per cent and 30 per cent of the issued share capital of the JV respectively.


Yorkville To Invest S$72,000,000 In Transcu Group Through Equity Line Facility

Transcu Group Limited ("Transcu" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), a Singapore Exchange ("SGX") Mainboard-Listed company, announced on December 10, 2009 that it entered into a $72,000,000 Equity Line Facility ("ELF") with YA Global Master SPV, LLC ("YA Global"), a fund managed by Yorkville Advisors, LLC of Jersey City, New Jersey USA ("Yorkville"). The investment was sourced and advised by Yorkville Advisors HK.

Transcu, a life sciences company engaged in the research, development and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies to improve the quality of life, may use the funds for the Group’s general corporate and working capital purposes and to further develop its existing business portfolio which includes pharmaceutical, cosmetics and green technology businesses.

SMB United's Building Services Division Wins International Quality Crown - Gold Award

SGX-Mainboard listed SMB United Limited ("SMB") announced on December 10, 2009 that Quantum Automation (Asia) Pte Ltd ("QA Asia"), a subsidiary under the Building Services Division was awarded the "International Quality Crown ("IQC") – Gold Award" at the 21st International Quality Crown Convention London 2009 organised by Business Initiatives Directions ("BID").

Held at the Guoman Tower Hotel in London on 29th & 30th November 2009, the annual IQC Award is designed to recognise the prestige of outstanding companies, organisations and businessmen in the business world.


Soilbuild Inks Breakthrough Turnkey Business Space Development Deal

Mainboard-listed Soilbuild Group Holdings Ltd ("Soilbuild" or "the Group") has been appointed by Kolette Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of foundation and geotechnical engineering specialist CSC Holdings Limited ("CSC"), to manage and market a turnkey business space development at Tuas South Avenue 2.

The project, to be undertaken by Soilbuild’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SB (Westpoint) Investment Pte. Ltd., is scheduled for completion by 1H2011. This development is expected to yield 70 single, two and three-storey high terrace factory units ranging from 3,000 to 6,000 square feet (sf) each.
