Sunpower Clinches RMB21.6 Million Pressure Vessels Contract From Thailand

Mainboard-listed Sunpower Group Ltd. ("Sunpower" or "the Group"), a China-based heat transfer technology specialist engaged in the design, R&D and manufacture of customised energysaving and environmental protection products for diverse industries, announced that its subsidiary, Jiangsu Sunpower Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunpower Technology"), has secured a pressure vessel contract worth approximately RMB21.6 million from MTP HPPO Manufacturing Company Limited ("MTP HPPO").

MTP HPPO is a subsidiary of Siam Styrene Monomer Company Limited ("SSMC"), which is an associate of Siam Cement Public Company Limited ("SCC"), one of Thailand's largest industrial conglomerates.

The contract, which is the first overseas pressure vessel contract secured by the Group in 2009, is expected to be delivered by 1H2010.


Noble Group
Board Appointment

The Board of Directors of Noble Group Limited has appointed Mr Ricardo Leiman, who is Chief Operating Officer of the Noble Group, to the Board of Directors with effect from April 1, 2009.

Mr Leiman joined Noble in April 2006 has been deeply involved in all aspects of the operations of the Noble Group. His contributions to the management and growth of the Noble Group since he joined have been outstanding. His in-depth knowledge of the Noble Group and its operations would add greatly to the deliberations of the Board. Mr Leiman has obtained two Masters of Business Administration Degrees, one from the University of Rochester, in the State of New York, U.S.A. and the other from the University of Nyenrode, in the Netherlands. He also holds an Economics Degree from the University of Sao Paolo in Brazil.


CNA To Provide Green Solution For Grand Hyatt Singapore

SGX Mainboard-listed CNA Group Ltd. ("CNA" or "the Group"), an award-winning enabler of intelligent buildings and facilities, announced that it has been selected to develop and install an environmentally sustainable solution for the Grand Hyatt Singapore ("Hyatt" or "hotel") as part of the 5-star hotel's "going green strategy" to reduce its carbon footprint.

The latest contract is a significant addition to CNA's impressive track record of enabling buildings to be more energy efficient and to lower carbon emissions. Together with other projects secured during first quarter 2009, the Hyatt trigeneration ("trigen") system contract lifts the Group's Singapore order book by $6.2m million and these wins are expected to impact it's FY2009 performance.

Rickmers Maritime Expands Its Customer Base

Rickmers Trust Management Pte. Ltd., Trustee-Manager of Mainboard-listed Rickmers Maritime (the "Trust"), announced that it has accepted delivery of a new 4,250 TEU containership, Hanjin Newport, expanding its fleet in operation to a total of 16 modern and high-quality containerships. Constructed by Jiangsu New Yangzijiang Ship Building Co., Ltd, Hanjin Newport is the first of four ships to be leased out on seven-year fixed-rate time charters to South Korea's largest shipping company, Hanjin Shipping Co., Ltd ("Hanjin Shipping"). This latest addition is part of Rickmers Maritime's additional fleet that was contracted in early 2008.

Hanjin Shipping is the fifth liner company to join Rickmers Maritime's portfolio of prominent charterers, namely A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S, CMA CGM, Italia Marittima S.p.A., and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd.


PRC-based Sunpower Group Ltd. specializes in the design, R&D and manufacture of customized energy saving and environmental protection products using heat transfer technologies. Its products range from pressure vessels, heat pipes and heat exchangers to pipe supports, waste gas and energy recovery systems. They are used in various industries such as petrochemical, steel, transportation, chemicals, particularly in energy projects that benefit from the products' energy-saving features. Sunpower has a strong customer base and is a member of both China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC) materials supply network and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) first-tier network.

These memberships pre-qualify the Group to supply products to companies in the SINOPEC and CNPC groups. Till date, the Group has 46 patents registered in China to its proprietary heat technologies.
