For the six months ended 31 December 2005, net profit surged nearly 30% to RMB166.4 million, from RMB128.8 million in 1H FY05 on the back of a 31.4% increase in revenue to RMB634.9 million, from RMB483.2 million previously. Gross margin was 43.1%, while operating margin was 30.9%.
Based on the latest 1H results, earnings per share increased more than 26% to RMB0.19, from RMB0.15 previously. Net asset value per share was also higher at RMB1.73 as at 31 December 2005, compared with RMB1.65 as at 30 June 2005.
